Maschio's Food Service Inc. is seeking an Assistant Cook for a School Food Service program in the Hollywood, FL area. This part-time role offers a day shift, 5 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays and summers off.

The Assistant Cook will support the Kitchen Manager with daily food preparation, follow instructions, and uphold high food safety standards. Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of cooking experience and work well in a team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the Kitchen Manager with food preparation and cooking menu items.
• Unpack and properly store food deliveries.
• Rotate stock and maintain proper inventory organization.
• Follow established food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Keep the kitchen and work areas clean and organized.
• Follow instructions and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• Work cooperatively with kitchen staff and management.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
