Job summary

Maschio's Food Service Inc. is seeking a cook for a school food service program in the Hazlet, NJ area. The position is Monday through Friday, day shift, with about 3.75 to 4 hours daily and summers off.

Responsibilities include preparing hot and cold meals, following NSLP menus, maintaining safety and hygiene, using PPE, stocking, serving, operating the cash register, and performing routine cleaning. Certification like ServSafe a plus and eligibility to work in schools are preferred.

Qualifications

• Cooking experience required, K-12 a plus.
• ServSafe certification a plus.
• Must be able to obtain the proper documentation to work in schools.
