Massillon City Schools MASSILLON INTERMED. - Massillon, Ohio is seeking an Assistant Cook - 3 HR for the Massillon Intermediate & Junior High School Building. Schedule runs 11:00 am - 2:00 pm with a pay rate of $13.81/hr.

Reports to the Building Principal/Designee and the position is a substitute role with duties to support the Head Cook and Food Service Supervisor. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and the ability to follow sanitation standards, operate kitchen equipment,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, proof provided.
• Knowledge of food prep, equipment operation, serving and cleaning.
• Cash register and basic bookkeeping experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Shall follow directions from Head Cook and Food Service Supervisor.
• Prepare, portion and serve meals.
• Maintain sanitation per Health Department standards.
• Operate POS as needed and assist with cleaning duties.
• Attend meetings or in-service trainings as required.
• Step in for Head Cook during absence per seniority.
• Work cooperatively to create a positive environment for students and staff.
