Job summary

Williamsville Central School District is seeking a Part-time Motor Equipment Operator for the Child Nutrition program in East Amherst, NY. The role runs 30 hours per week, 6 hours per day, from 7:15am to 1:15pm, for 10 months per school year, with a starting date of Aug 31, 2026.

Duties include transporting food, pallet packing, and maintaining warehouse areas, with CDL and clean driving record required. Experience with handling refrigerated products, pallet safety, lift gates, and inventory

Qualifications

• 1 year of work experience operating trucks or similar equipment.
• Possession of a valid Class B NYS CDL with air brake endorsement or ability to obtain one.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Transports food and items within and outside the district.
• Packs pallets for delivery and ensures load safety.
• Maintains Child Nutrition warehouse including freezer and cooler.
• Logs mileage and fuels the vehicle when needed.
• Follows daily delivery assignments.
