Substitute Server Helpers are limited to working 600 hours per school year, with starting date ASAP. The role involves assisting with meal preparation, serving, and cleanup, while adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Health Certificate.
• Ability to relate well with other food service workers and school personnel.
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds.
• Demonstrate ability to do basic mathematics for portions and attendance factors.
• Communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Always punctual.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation, assembling, serving and clean-up of meals following Food Service policies and procedures.
• Supervise and instruct student workers assisting with the meal period.
• Follow sanitation, safety and temperature control procedures per health department standards.
• Maintain a safe work environment and report problems to the appropriate department promptly.
• Perform additional duties as requested by the Food Services Director.
