Chelmsford Public Schools is seeking a part-time Food Service Substitute Worker for the 2026-2027 school year. Work hours are 3.75 hours per day across district locations, with start times varying.

Under supervision, you will measure out and prepare foods, serve meals, and clean dining areas. Candidates should have a High School Diploma and good customer service; citizenship or work eligibility required. Pay rate is $16 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; ability to follow oral/written instructions.
• Experience in Food Service preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Measure and prepare foods according to recipes; serve and clean dining areas.
• Assist with breakfast, lunch and snack service; operate basic kitchen equipment.
• Maintain clean work areas and follow safety and sanitation guidelines.
