Job summary

Chelmsford Public Schools is seeking a part-time Food Service General Worker to support our district-wide meal program. The role offers a flexible schedule with no nights or weekends and summers off, supporting breakfast, lunch and snack services.

Starting date is August 28, 2026, with a pay rate of $20.13 per hour. Located across the Chelmsford Public Schools campuses, the position requires teamwork and customer service excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow oral/written instruction.
• General Food Service Workers have a great part time schedule while working in a fun and fast paced environment!
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Measure out and prepare foods according to established recipes; serve and clean work areas.
• Prepare and serve food for Breakfast, Lunch and Snack Bars as needed.
• Operate kitchen equipment and POS register; assist with cleanup and restocking.
