Job summary

St. Anne’s-Belfield School is seeking a part-time Facilities Assistant to support the Buildings and Grounds effort at our Charlottesville campus.

The position covers painting, drywall, plumbing work orders, and general tasks, with flexible hours set by the Director of Operations. The role requires a High School diploma, at least three years in facilities maintenance, and a Virginia driver's license with a clean record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of facilities maintenance experience.
• VA driver's license and clean driving record.
• Background checks as required.
• Read and understand SDS (Safety Data Sheets).
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Safe operation of vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with facilities Department needs, including painting, drywall, plumbing work orders, and general work orders.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and run equipment as necessary.
• Support event setup, snow removal, on-call rotation, and other tasks as assigned.
• Deliver excellent customer service to faculty and staff.
