Job summary

Mullica Township School District is seeking a part-time custodian to provide thorough and efficient care and maintenance in a safe, clean, and comfortable school environment.

The role reports to the Manager of Buildings, Grounds, and Custodial Services. Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms, offices, cafeterias, and restrooms, stocking supplies, and ensuring doors and lights are secured at end of day. A valid driver’s license and boiler license (or ability to obtain) are required.

Qualifications

• Criminal history background check completed as a condition of employment.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License required.
• Boiler Operators License (Black Seal) or obtain within 1 year of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Cleans floors of classrooms, offices, and corridors as assigned.
• Removes debris on sidewalks and entrances as directed.
• Sweeps, mops, vacuums, and waxes floors; cleans and disinfects restrooms and fixtures.
• Fills paper and soap dispensers; closes doors and secures premises per schedule.
• Moves furniture and equipment as directed; stores supplies and delivers items to teachers.
