Evolving Solution Services in Lisle, IL is seeking a part-time Custodian to maintain a clean, safe learning environment for students and staff. You will perform cleaning tasks in classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas, sanitize surfaces, and assist with light maintenance to keep facilities in good condition.

Qualifications

Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal in classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
Sanitize surfaces and restrooms regularly to maintain health and safety standards.
Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and report or address minor repairs such as changing light bulbs, fixing door locks, or unclogging drains.
Set up and arrange furniture and equipment for school events, meetings, and activities as needed.
Ensure proper storage and use of cleaning supplies and equipment in compliance with safety regulations.
Assist with snow removal, lawn care, and other outdoor maintenance tasks during appropriate seasons.
Respond promptly to emergency cleaning requests and spills to maintain a safe environment.
Collaborate with school administration and maintenance teams to support facility operations and improvements.
