iLEAD Exploration in Lancaster, CA is seeking a Custodian for a part-time Facilities & Maintenance role. You will maintain a safe, clean school facility and assist with setup and basic maintenance.

Responsibilities include sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, organizing spaces, moving furniture, and reporting repairs. Requires High School diploma, basic English, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs; prior custodial experience preferred.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of cleaning methods, procedures, products and equipment.
• Understand and follow oral and written directions.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Basic ability to read and speak/understand English.
• Very high level of personal and professional integrity.
• Knowledge of iLEAD safety rules and habits.
• Some custodial experience is preferred.
• Experience in a school district environment is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform General Building Maintenance including sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming floors, scrubbing walls, washing windows, replacing light bulbs, emptying and cleaning wastebaskets and trash containers, and removing gum.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms including refilling soap, paper towel and toilet paper dispensers.
• Clean, dust and wipe furniture.
• Move and store furniture, equipment, supplies and tools as needed.
• Assist with the setup of facilities for meetings, classrooms, conferences, events, etc.
• Use, clean and maintain assigned cleaning equipment.
• Handle recycling materials.
• Support and enforce iLEAD policies, safety regulations and guidelines.
• Identify repairs and maintenance and reporting issues to Maintenance/Facilitates.
• Secure facility to minimize property damage and equipment loss.
• Have friendly and positive interaction with learners, parents, staff.
• Assist classroom teams in providing extra curriculum support to at-promise learners to fill learning gaps.
• Protect confidentiality of records and information.
• Demonstrate professional integrity and behavior.
• Be self-directed and proactive; work in a collaborative environment.
