Job summary

Avon Public Schools seeks a Substitute Custodian at Avon Middle-High School in Avon, Massachusetts. The role is part-time, 4 hours per day after school/evenings with some flexible times. Compensation is $18 per hour, starting immediately.

The position may run up to 5 days per week mid-August to mid-November, with additional needs thereafter. Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms and corridors, taking out trash, cleaning bathrooms, floor care, and light event setup/breakdown.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms and corridors.
• Empty trash and recycling.
• Clean bathrooms and stock supplies.
• Sweep, vacuum and/or mop floors.
• Clean windows and other glass.
• Dust surfaces and clean as needed.
• Set up and/or break down events.
