Qualifications

• Master's degree in School Counseling, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Strong counseling and communication skills.

• Knowledge of crisis intervention strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small-group counseling to students addressing academic, social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
• Conduct assessments and identify students who may benefit from counseling interventions.
• Develop and implement strategies to promote social-emotional learning and coping skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and child study teams to support student achievement and well-being.
• Assist with crisis intervention and provide referrals to community resources when necessary.
• Participate in IEP, 504, and multidisciplinary team meetings as required.
• Maintain confidential student records in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Engage in professional development and training opportunities.
• Promote an inclusive, supportive school environment for all students.
