Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Covina, CA, to work in a school setting under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. This part-time contract role involves providing therapy services, collecting data, and documenting progress for students.

Requirements include current OTA licensure in California, graduation from an accredited program, pediatric experience preferred, CPR if applicable, and compliance with all regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Current certification or licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• One year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant preferred.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
