Job summary

Soliant in Somerville, MA is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a part-time contract in a K-12 school, two days per week, starting ASAP through the end of the current school year.

You will deliver direct occupational therapy under supervision, support IEP goals, document progress, and collaborate with therapists, teachers, and staff to meet diverse student needs. Compensation ranges from $24.29 to $44.29 per hour with benefits.

Qualifications

• Active COTA certification required.
• Experience in school-based settings preferred, but not mandatory.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, and school staff.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Experience or comfort working across diverse age ranges (K-12).
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for all students.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of an OTR/L.
• Supporting students in achieving academic and developmental goals.
• Assisting with the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records for each student.
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings as requested.
• Helping adapt classroom materials and environments to support students’ varied needs.
