Job summary

Sand Creek Community Schools is seeking a part-time Communications Coordinator to promote the district’s mission and engage families and the community through social media, emails, the website, newsletters and podcasts.

The ideal candidate creates content, manages social media, and maintains strong relationships. Reports to the Superintendent and works part-time with a flexible schedule, paid through Edustaff.

Qualifications

• Degree in communications or related field.
• Experience in fundraising or marketing.
• Experience working in an educational environment preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging content for marketing materials and newsletters.
• Develop and implement communication strategies across digital and print channels.
• Manage and update the district's social media accounts and website.
• Coordinate with departments to highlight staff and student achievements.
• Support transparency and community engagement through strategic communications.
