Job summary

Sandia Prep is seeking a part-time Content Specialist to support the Marketing and Communications (MarCom) Department with copywriting, editing, and proofreading for internal and external audiences. The role involves editing emails, researching and writing stories for the website and school publications, and gathering information from students, teachers, parents, and alumni for content.

It also includes attending school events for photos and video, with 8–10 hours on campus and remaining hours

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum 2+ years of marketing and communications experience preferred.
Strong writing, editing, and time-management skills.
Experience with photography and videography preferred.
Familiarity with Word, Photoshop, InDesign, CMS-based websites, Google Suite, and video editing software.

Responsibilities

Edit, format, and send all external emails for the School.
Research and write stories for website and publications with our target audience in mind.
Gather information, including interviewing students, teachers, parents, and alumni for website content, press releases, newsletters, school magazine, blogs, and other publications.
Attend school events and activities for photos and video.
