Job summary

Concordia Academy seeks a hard-working school cleaner to join a friendly team and maintain a clean, safe learning environment. The role is part-time with a permanent contract, working within REAch2 Academy Trust’s network.

You will contribute to sanitising facilities for children and staff, collaborate with colleagues, and uphold safeguarding practices while supporting flexible school needs.

Qualifications

• Experience of similar work.
• Ability to work constructively as part of a team.
• Ability to relate well to children and to adults.
• Good organising and prioritising skills.
• Ability to keep accurate cleaning records.
• Evidence of a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Responsibilities

• Undertake cleaning duties throughout the school to ensure a clean environment.
• Work as part of a team to maintain sanitised, safe spaces for learning.
• Keep accurate cleaning records and report issues promptly.
• Adhere to safeguarding policies and promote welfare of pupils.
