Job summary

Chandler Unified School District is seeking a Noontime Aide for a 1.5-hour daily shift at Chandler, Arizona. The role supports cafeteria supervision and student safety during lunch periods.

Starting rate is $16.53 per hour with consideration for experience; includes paid holidays, PTO and wellness benefits. The position requires high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to work with children across age groups.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to work with children at different age levels
• Some experience in rearing, supervising, or working with children
• Good human relations skills
• Knowledge of and adherence to all policies, regulations, and rules

Responsibilities

• Maintain surveillance of the assigned area to assure safe and responsible conduct
• Foster and maintain effective relationships with students
• Monitor the activities of students at play or in the cafeteria
• Counsel and intervene to prevent unacceptable behavior
• Refer disciplinary cases to the appropriate authority
• Report unauthorized persons on school premises
• Notify the school health office in case of an accident
• Perform all duties safely and prudently as directed
• Perform other duties as assigned that support the overall objective of the position
