Job summary

Qualifications

• Education/Certification: High school diploma or GED certificate preferred
• Valid Texas driver’s license or state issued ID
• Possess or can possess a food handler's card within 30 days
• Special Knowledge/Skills: Ability to follow oral and written instructions and the ability to communicate effectively
• Experience: Will train

Responsibilities

• Learn operation of all kitchen equipment
• Prepare foods from standardized recipes and follow production records
• Break down recipes to adjust quantities
• Fill out production records with amounts prepared, leftovers and served
• Assist in receiving and storage of food, equipment, paper, and cleaning supplies
• Maintain high safety and sanitation standards per Health Dept and EcoSure standards
• Follow cash handling and key/lock security procedures
• Assist with events and schedule changes
• Assist with clean up after lunch service
• Report safety and equipment issues to Supervisor
• Communicate professionally with CNS Management Team
• Perform other duties as assigned.
