Job summary

Cohasset Public Schools is seeking a part-time food service worker to assist in meal preparation, serving, and kitchen cleaning under the direction of the Director of Food Services. The role supports smooth operation of the cafeteria during the school year.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, be able to lift up to 40 lbs, pass background checks, and obtain sanitation certification within the first year. Hours are 5 per day, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must obtain sanitation certification within first year.
• Criminal record check and fingerprint background required.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals following USDA guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas.
• Operate POS system and assist in food service tasks as scheduled.
• Assist in receiving and stocking orders and record production logs.
