Qualifications

• Experience in preparation and serving of food, especially in a school setting.
• Must have Serve Safe Food Handler’s certification or be willing to obtain it.
• Ability to read and follow all food safety and physical safety rules.
• Strong communication skills when interacting with scholars.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes; clean pots and pans.
• Set up trays and clean serving areas.
• Assist chef with meal prep as needed.
• Stock shelves, receive and store orders.
• Follow state and federal food handling regulations.
