Job summary

First Student is hiring part-time School Bus Drivers in Gresham, OR. You will start mornings with school drop-offs and return home in the afternoon, with additional hours possible for field trips and events.

No experience is required—training and guidance are provided to help you become a safe, professional driver. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and life insurance options, a 401(k) with company match, and a part-time flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Requires English proficiency for safety and communication.
• Candidate must hold a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Must be at least 21 years old and eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading; assist students with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the bus and ensure student safety at all times.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of brakes, lights, tires, and exits.
• Report issues to dispatcher and keep vehicle clean and sanitized.
• Communicate with parents and school staff about delays or behavior.
