First Student, Inc. in Gresham, OR is hiring as a Part Time School Bus Monitor/Aide. You will assist the bus driver to provide a safe journey for students and will help with boarding, seating, and managing behavior during transit.

No experience is required; we provide industry-leading safety and training programs to guide you. This role offers a flexible part-time schedule with split AM/PM routes and opportunities for career advancement across locations.

Qualificações

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible split shifts (AM/PM).
• Physical ability to assist students and perform emergency procedures.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Friendly, reliable, and patient with children.
• Team-oriented with a focus on safety.

Responsabilidades

• Help students safely board and exit the bus.
• Assist children with special needs during transport.
• Ensure students remain seated and follow bus safety rules.
• Communicate with the driver to maintain a safe, calm ride.
• Provide care and encouragement to students each day.

Conhecimentos
