LeafSpring School at Ballantyne in Ballantyne, NC is seeking a responsible Part-Time School Bus Driver to safely transport children to and from school and approved activities with a warm, professional approach.

You will follow all state and company transportation procedures, conduct pre-trip inspections, maintain accurate passenger counts, and communicate clearly with teachers, families, and children as part of a team dedicated to safety and dependable service.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required.
• Clean driving record.
• Minimum 21 years old.
• Background checks and licensing requirements must be completed.
• Experience transporting children or in childcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport children to and from school, field trips, and activities.
• Follow state, local, and company transportation regulations and safety procedures.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Ensure children are properly seated, supervised, and secured.
• Maintain accurate passenger counts and loading/unloading procedures.
• Communicate professionally with teachers, families, and children.
• Keep bus clean, safe, and organized; report safety concerns promptly.
• Assist with loading/unloading and adapt to changing routes or schedules.
