Job summary

Young World Physical Education is seeking a part-time Bus Driver to operate the school bus for Davidson County Schools in High Point, North Carolina. The driver will ensure the safe and efficient transportation of students, perform necessary inspections, and maintain discipline aboard the bus.

The ideal candidate must have a valid North Carolina CDL and experience operating large vehicles. The job offers a flexible schedule with pay starting at $17.95 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school graduation and experience driving large vehicles, preferably transporting humans.
• Possession of a valid North Carolina Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License with P and S endorsements.
• Knowledge of traffic laws and school bus regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate a school bus on assigned routes and schedules.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the bus.
• Maintain discipline of students riding the bus.
