Job summary

First Student Management LLC is hiring part‑time School Bus Drivers in Rochester, MN. Earn $27.00–$30.00 per hour with paid CDL training and a flexible, weekday schedule. Guaranteed hours, no nights or weekends, and opportunities for field trips and special events.

Must be at least 21 and possess a valid license; English proficiency required. You will drive students safely, assist with seating and mobility aids, perform pre/post trip inspections, and report any issues.

Qualifications

• Requires English proficiency for effective communication with students, parents and staff.
• No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training provided.
• Part‑time, daytime shifts with guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading; assist students with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the bus to minimize distractions.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections (brakes, lights, tires, etc.).
• Report mechanical issues promptly and keep the bus clean and sanitary.
• Follow traffic laws and company safety standards.
• Communicate with parents, school staff, and dispatch about delays or behavior.
• Demonstrate leadership and customer service while driving.
