First Student is hiring Part Time School Bus Drivers to start students’ mornings with morning pickup and transport them home after school. No experience needed; we provide expert training and guidance to help you become a safe and professional driver.

There are opportunities for field trips and special event transportation, with a guaranteed minimum 4 hours per day. The role offers an hourly rate of $27.25, with training pay and benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance,

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Hold a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• No experience required; CDL/CLP training provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading; assist with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the bus to prevent distractions.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Report mechanical issues and keep the bus clean.
• Obey traffic laws and company safety standards.
• Communicate with parents, staff, and dispatch about delays.
• Demonstrate leadership and customer service.
