Job summary

First Student, Inc. is hiring Part Time School Bus Drivers in Rochester, WA. You will start mornings with pickup and transport students after school, with additional hours for field trips and events. Training is provided to help you become a safe and professional driver.

Pay ranges from $24.50 to $29.17 per hour, with benefits including insurance options, a 401(k) with company match, and guaranteed minimum hours. Flexible split shifts and opportunities for career advancement are available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license for at least 5 years.
• Part-time schedule with summers off.
• DOT drug testing as safety-sensitive employee.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading at stops; assist students with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the bus to prevent distractions.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections (brakes, lights, tires, emergency exits).
• Report mechanical issues promptly and keep the bus clean and sanitary.
