Job summary

First Student, Inc. is hiring part-time School Bus Drivers in the Methacton/Eagleville area to start mornings and return students home after school. Training is provided, with opportunities for field trips and events.

Sign-on bonuses apply and routes are designed for a flexible AM/PM schedule with no nights or weekends. Drivers will transport students safely, assist with boarding, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and communicate with parents and school staff about delays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Enjoy working with students.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading; assist students with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the bus to prevent distractions.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections (brakes, lights, tires, emergency exits).
• Report mechanical issues promptly and keep the bus clean and sanitary.
• Obey all traffic laws and company safety standards.
• Communicate with parents, school staff, and dispatch about student behavior or delays.
• Demonstrate leadership and customer service skills.

Skills

Valid Class B License

Rideshare/taxi driving experience

Experience with teaching/CDL driver/SD
