First Student, Inc. is hiring part-time School Bus Drivers in Colmar, PA. You will start mornings with pickups and transport students home in the afternoons.

Training is provided to ensure safety and professionalism for new drivers, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for experienced drivers or $1,500 for new drivers. Enjoy a flexible part-time schedule with split AM/PM routes, weekdays only, no nights or summers required, and potential field trips.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided to become a safe and professional driver.
• You must meet basic DOT safety requirements and training will be supplied.
• This role requires English proficiency and DOT drug testing compliance.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading at stops; assist with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the bus and ensure student safety.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of brakes, lights, tires, and exits.
• Report mechanical issues and keep the bus clean and sanitary.
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety standards.
• Communicate with parents, school staff, and dispatch about delays or behavior.
