First Student is hiring part-time School Bus Drivers in Winnebago, NE. The role starts with morning pickups and afternoon returns, with additional trips possible.

No experience required; we provide expert training to help you become a safe, professional driver. compensation includes an hourly rate of $22, a sign-on bonus, and comprehensive benefits through the company; flexible AM/PM routes available, with maintenance of safety standards and DOT compliance.

Formación

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Hold a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Willing to work part-time with flexible AM/PM routes.
• No experience required; training provided.
• DOT drug testing applies to safety-sensitive position.

Responsabilidades

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding/unloading; assist students with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the bus and prevent distractions.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections (brakes, lights, tires, etc.).
• Report mechanical issues promptly and keep the bus clean and sanitary.
• Communicate with parents, school staff, and dispatch about delays or student behavior.
