First Student, Inc. is hiring part-time School Bus Drivers in Winnebago, NE. You’ll start mornings with student pickups and transport them safely home in the afternoons. Training is provided; no prior experience necessary. Earn an hourly wage with potential bonuses and a guaranteed minimum hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Part-time schedule with summers off; daytime hours.
• Enjoy working with students.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading; assist students with belts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the bus to prevent distractions.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections (brakes, lights, tires, emergencies).
• Report mechanical issues promptly and keep the bus clean and sanitary.
• Obey all traffic laws and company safety standards.
• Communicate with parents, school staff, and dispatch about delays or behavior.
• Demonstrate leadership and customer service during routes.
