First Student Maywood, IL is hiring part-time School Bus Drivers to start mornings and afternoons, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus and pay from $23.00 to $27.00 per hour. Training is provided and field trips may add hours.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Part-time schedule with summers off and no nights or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading; assist with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the bus and conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections.
• Report mechanical issues and keep the bus clean and sanitary.
• Obey traffic laws and safety standards.
• Communicate with parents/school staff about delays or behavior.
