First Student in Niles, MI is hiring a Part-Time School Bus Driver to start mornings with pickups and transport students home in the afternoon. Training is provided, and no prior experience is required.

You can expect a flexible part-time schedule with an hourly rate of $24.00, plus sign-on bonuses and opportunities for advancement across 540 locations in the U.S. and Canada. This is a community-focused role with strong safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver's license for 3+ years.
• DOT safety standards apply; training provided to obtain CDL student permits.
• Experience in customer service is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding/unloading and assist with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the bus and conduct pre/post-trip inspections.
• Report issues promptly and keep the bus clean and sanitary.
• Communicate with parents and school staff about delays or behavior.
• Follow traffic laws and company safety standards.
• Demonstrate professional conduct and customer service.
