First Student in Wheeling, IL is hiring part-time School Bus Drivers to start students' days with morning pickups and transport them home after school. No experience is required; we provide expert training to help you earn the licenses and endorsements needed for the role.

We offer a $2,000 sign-on bonus, competitive hourly pay of up to $29.00 per hour, flexible AM/PM routes, and opportunities for field trips and events across our network of locations.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided to earn CDL endorsements and required certifications.
• Must meet eligibility for driving students and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding/unloading and assist students with seatbelts.
• Maintain bus discipline and conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections.
• Communicate with parents, school staff, and dispatch about delays or issues.
