Job summary

First Student, Inc. is hiring Part Time School Bus Drivers in Grantham, NH. You will start mornings with pickup and return students home in the afternoon, with additional field trips possible.

No experience is required; company provides training to help you become a safe and professional driver. A competitive hourly rate is offered with a sign-on bonus, and a flexible, part-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
• Part-time schedule with weekdays only; no nights, weekends, holidays, or summers required.
• English proficiency required by DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading; assist students with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the bus to prevent distractions.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections (brakes, lights, tires, etc.).
• Report mechanical issues promptly and keep the bus clean.
• Obey traffic laws and company safety standards.
• Communicate with parents, school staff, and dispatch about delays or behavior.
• Demonstrate leadership and customer service during routes.
