First Student in Portsmouth, RI is hiring a Part-Time School Bus Driver to start students' days with morning pickup and return them home in the afternoon. Training is provided and the role offers a flexible AM/PM schedule with guaranteed hours.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver license for at least 3 years.
• Part-time schedule with AM/PM routes; no nights/weekends/ summers.
• English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading; assist students with belts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the bus to prevent distractions.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of brakes, lights, tires, etc.
• Report mechanical issues promptly and keep the bus clean.
• Obey all traffic laws and company safety standards.
