The role involves morning and afternoon routes, community service, and potential trips, with a strong emphasis on safety and student welfare. The position requires a valid Class B CDL with S and P endorsements, and excludes permit holders or those needing CDL training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must possess a valid Class B CDL or higher.
• Must possess current Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements.
• Must meet all DOT physical and background requirements.
• Must have a minimum of three years of driving experience.
• Previous school bus driving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transporting students to and from school and school-related activities.
• Supervising boarding and unloading at bus stops.
• Assisting students with seatbelts and mobility devices as needed.
• Maintaining order on the bus to ensure a safe environment.
• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Reporting mechanical issues promptly and maintaining vehicle cleanliness.
• Complying with all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety standards.
• Communicating professionally with parents, school staff, and dispatch teams.
