Job summary

Tri County Transportation is seeking a part-time School Bus Driver to operate a bus on a fixed route for morning and afternoon runs, transporting students to and from school.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, ensure DOT compliance, and monitor student safety. CDL Class B with school bus endorsements or willingness to complete training is required; driving record must be clean. Training and licensing support provided.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B with school bus passenger and air brake endorsements, or willingness to complete CDL training.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Reliable, punctual and able to manage students.
• Must pass MVR, background checks, clearances, a DOT physical and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Drive a school bus on a set route, morning and afternoon.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure DOT compliance.
• Maintain student safety and behavior on board.
• Assist with field trips and occasional after-hours activities.
