Job summary

Tri County Transportation is seeking a School Bus Driver in Pennsylvania to transport students on a split shift schedule. You will perform pre-trip inspections, maintain DOT compliance, and ensure youth safety on routes in the Penns Manor School District.

The role offers a part-time schedule, with mornings and afternoons, and extra paid hours for field trips. CDL Class B endorsements are required or training is provided by the company.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B with school bus passenger and air brake endorsements, or willingness to complete CDL training.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Be dependable about time and comfortable managing students
• Pass an MVR, background check, clearances, a DOT physical and a drug screen

Responsibilities

• Drive a bus on a set route, morning and afternoon, carrying students to and from school.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure DOT compliance.
• Check the vehicle after every route and manage student behavior safely.
• Be available for field trips, sports and activity runs on a rotational basis.
