Woodridge Local School District is seeking a Transportation Attendant (Floater) to support student transport on multiple routes. The role runs Monday through Friday with split morning and afternoon shifts (6:30am-8:30am and 2:30pm-4:30pm).

A starting hourly rate of $18.44 is offered for the 2026-2027 school year. Qualifications include CPR certification, basic first aid knowledge, and the ability to work with disabled children.

Aufgaben

• Ride bus route daily and cooperate with the driver.
• Attend trainings, safety meetings, and staff meetings.
• Sit and talk with student(s).
• Review bus rules with student(s).
• Monitor behavior and report infractions in writing.
• Honor confidentiality – discuss student’s behavior only with bus driver and transportation supervisor.
• Report in writing to transportation supervisor any irregular or unusual behavior that might endanger the student.
• Exhibit a caring, professional attitude with parents, students, and staff.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by transportation supervisor.
• Be able, mentally and physically, to react to any situation while monitoring students on the bus.
