Job summary

Clover School District is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves evaluating students, diagnosing communication disorders, and developing IEPs within a school setting in Clover, SC.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate students referred for speech-language services using appropriate assessment tools and procedures.
  • Identify and diagnose communication disorders that may impact academic achievement and functional performance.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and speech-language goals.
  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services in individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and related service providers to support student success.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, and multidisciplinary team discussions.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation including evaluations, progress reports, Medicaid documentation (if applicable), and service logs.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and needs.
  • Support early intervention, MTSS, and classroom-based strategies as appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance with IDEA, state regulations, district policies, and professional ethical standards.
  • Stay current with best practices through professional development and continuing education.
