Job summary

KIPP Indy College Prep Middle is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct services to students in grades K–10, across multiple KIPP Indy campuses. The role focuses on individualized and group interventions aligned to IEP goals and requires collaboration with teachers and families.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and Indiana licensure eligibility; CCC-SLP is preferred. Compensation is $60–$70 per hour, with 25–28 hours weekly on-site.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
• Current Indiana SLP licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• CCC-SLP preferred but not required.
• School-based or pediatric SLP experience preferred.
• Experience developing, implementing, and monitoring IEP goals.
• Knowledge of special education processes, evaluations, eligibility, and compliance.
• Ability to manage a caseload across multiple campuses.
• Strong communication, organization, documentation, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently with Diverse Learners teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct individual and small-group speech and language services aligned to students’ IEP goals.
• Plan and deliver evidence-based speech and language interventions to support access to instruction.
• Manage an assigned caseload, including scheduling, progress monitoring, evaluations, documentation, and communication with relevant team members.
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate service documentation and adjust interventions based on student needs.
• Complete IEP progress reports and contribute to Present Levels, goals, accommodations, and service recommendations.
• Participate in IEP and Case Conference Committee meetings and communicate progress with families and school teams.
• Conduct speech-language evaluations and reevaluations and contribute to eligibility decisions.
• Collaborate with Teachers of Record, general education teachers, school leaders, families, and other service providers.
• Partner with classroom teams to embed communication strategies and supports into daily instruction.
• Provide consultation, strategies, and resources to teachers and staff.
• Maintain timely documentation in accordance with IEPs and KIPP Indy procedures.
