Job summary

EDU Healthcare seeks a Part-Time School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026–2027 school year in Florida. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat students, develop IEPs, and deliver direct therapy in both individual and group settings.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support goals, maintain thorough documentation, and participate in IEP meetings. This therapist-owned organization offers resources and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active FL SLP license or eligibility to obtain before start.
  • CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
  • Knowledge of IEP processes, therapy documentation, and educational service delivery.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized IEPs tailored to each student’s needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals.
  • Maintain detailed records and progress reports in accordance with school and district policies.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress.
  • Stay current with best practices and continue professional development as required.

Skills

Speech-Language Pathology
SLP licensure in FL
