Job summary

TheraPeds Partners seeks a part-time, on-site Physical Therapist (PT) for a school-based role in Monrovia, IN. The position supports K–12 students with gross-motor, mobility, balance, and functional movement needs within the educational setting.

You will evaluate students, develop IEP-driven goals, and provide direct therapy while coordinating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams. This role offers guaranteed hours and supportive district collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active or eligible for state licensure as a PT.
• Department of Education credential or authorization where required for school-based practice.
• APTA membership preferred; experience with pediatric or school-based PT.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students individually and in groups.
• Conduct comprehensive PT evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and monitor educationally relevant IEP goals.
• Develop and implement intervention plans based on student needs.
• Supervise and collaborate with PTA; ensure compliance with state requirements.
• Coordinate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and IEP records.
