Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a part-time, on-site Physical Therapist (PT) for a school-based position in Roseville, CA. The role emphasizes evaluating and supporting students with gross-motor and mobility needs to participate in school activities.

Responsibilities include direct PT services, PT evaluations, and collaboration with school staff, families, and therapists; supervision of a PTA as needed; and adherence to IEP-related processes and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active or eligible for state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Appropriate Department of Education credential or authorization where required for school-based practice.
• APTA membership preferred.
• Experience working with children or school-aged students; school-based or pediatric PT experience preferred.
• Experience supervising or collaborating with a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students individually, in small groups, and within classroom or school environments.
• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and assessments.
• Develop, implement, and monitor measurable, educationally relevant IEP goals.
• Develop individualized intervention plans based on student needs and educational priorities.
• Provide therapeutic activities and exercises to address strength, balance, coordination, mobility, and functional movement.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide supervision to a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) as assigned.
