Job summary

The Sharon Public Schools in Sharon, MA, seeks a part-time Physical Therapist (3 days per week) to cover a maternity leave through 12/23/2026. The role provides school-based PT as a related service to enhance students’ access to the curriculum in natural environments.

Responsibilities include designing and implementing interventions, progress monitoring, and contributing to IEP/504 planning. Travel among campuses is required, with reporting to the Building Principal(s)/Director of Student

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy is required.
• Massachusetts licensure as a PT is required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in PT, school setting preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate motor skills affecting school participation and function.
• Provide direct or consultative physical therapy to students.
• Use screening tools and progress monitoring to assess outcomes.
• Participate in IEP/504 processes and related services.
• Travel between Sharon schools to deliver services.
