Job summary

Ascension is seeking a part-time Dental Hygienist for the St Elizabeth Ann Seton Dental Clinic in Milwaukee. You will perform routine hygiene duties in a school-based setting, including screenings, sealants, fluoride applications and radiographs, while counseling families on oral health and nutrition.

You will maintain equipment and charting in our dental software and liaise with parents for follow-up care. The role aligns with Ascension’s mission and offers a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 1 month of hire.
• Dental Hygienist credential required by Wisconsin Dentistry Examining Board.
• Associate's degree in dental hygiene or equivalent experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide dental hygiene services in a school-based setting (screenings, sealants, fluoride, radiographs).
• Counsel patients/communities on oral hygiene, nutrition and oral health.
• Maintain clinical equipment and supplies; document accurately in dental software.
• Report findings and follow-up needs to parents/guardians.
