Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a school-based role in Bethany, OK for the 2026-2027 year. You’ll work on-site with PreK-12 students under the supervision of a licensed OT, supporting functional skills and participation in the school day.

Ideal candidates have an OTA degree, NBCOT, and Oklahoma licensure, plus pediatric or school experience. The role offers guaranteed hours, a collaborative team, and dedicated documentation time.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in OTA program required.
• NBCOT certification required.
• Active Oklahoma OTA licensure or eligibility.
• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to complete fingerprinting and background check.
• Proficiency with documentation and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students.
• Implement treatment plans and IEP goals with supervising OT.
• Support fine-motor, visual-motor, sensory-motor, self-care, and school skills.
• Monitor progress and collect data.
• Complete timely documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff.
• Participate in IEP and interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Communicate with supervising OT regularly.
